وَ لَ قَدْ خَلَقْنٰكُمْ
خَ لَقْ نَا كُمْ ثُمَّ
ثُمّ مَ صَوَّرْنٰكُمْ
صَوّ وَرْ نَا كُمْ ثُمَّ
ثُمّ مَ قُلْنَا
قُلْ نَا لِلْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِ
لِلْ مَ لَٓا ءِ كَ تِسْ اسْجُدُوْا
جُ دُوْ لِاٰدَمَ ۖۗ
لِ آ دَ مَ فَسَجَدُوْۤا
فَ سَ جَ دُوْٓ اِلَّاۤ
اِلّ لَٓا اِبْلِیْسَ ؕ
اِبْ لِىْٓ سْ لَمْ
لَمْ یَكُنْ
ىَ كُمّ مِّنَ
مِ نَسّ السّٰجِدِیْنَ
سَا جِ دِىْٓ نْ
Surely We created you,1 then shaped you, then said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam,” so they all did—but not Iblîs,2 who refused to prostrate with the others.

And We have certainly created you, [O mankind], and given you [human] form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees.1 He was not of those who prostrated.
