وَ مَآ اَرْسَلْنَا
اَرْ سَلْ نَا فِیْ
فِىْ قَرْیَةٍ
قَرْ ىَ تِمّ مِّنْ
مِنّ نَّبِیٍّ
نَ بِىّ يِنْ اِلَّاۤ
اِلّ لَٓا اَخَذْنَاۤ
اَخَذْ نَآ اَهْلَهَا
اَهْ لَ هَا بِالْبَاْسَآءِ
بِلْ بَاْ سَآ ءِ وَ الضَّرَّآءِ
وَضّ ضَرّ رَآ ءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ
لَ عَلّ لَ هُمْ یَضَّرَّعُوْنَ
يَضّ ضَرّ رَ عُوْٓ نْ
Whenever We sent a prophet to a society, We afflicted its ˹disbelieving˺ people with suffering and adversity, so perhaps they would be humbled.
