اِنَّا
اِنّ نَا عَرَضْنَا
عَ رَضْ نَلْ الْاَمَانَةَ
اَ مَا نَ ةَ عَلَی
عَ لَسّ السَّمٰوٰتِ
سَ مَا وَا تِ وَ الْاَرْضِ
وَلْ اَرْ ضِ وَ الْجِبَالِ
وَلْ جِ بَا لِ فَاَبَیْنَ
فَ اَبَىْ نَ اَنْ
اَنْ ىّ یَّحْمِلْنَهَا
يَحْ مِلْ نَ هَا وَ اَشْفَقْنَ
وَاَشْ فَقْ نَ مِنْهَا
مِنْ هَا وَ حَمَلَهَا
وَحَ مَ لَ هَلْ الْاِنْسَانُ ؕ
اِنْ سَآ نْ اِنَّهٗ
اِنّ نَ هُوْ كَانَ
كَانَ ظَلُوْمًا
ظَ لُوْ مَنْ جَهُوْلًا
جَ هُوْ لَا
اِنّ نَا عَرَضْنَا
عَ رَضْ نَلْ الْاَمَانَةَ
اَ مَا نَ ةَ عَلَی
عَ لَسّ السَّمٰوٰتِ
سَ مَا وَا تِ وَ الْاَرْضِ
وَلْ اَرْ ضِ وَ الْجِبَالِ
وَلْ جِ بَا لِ فَاَبَیْنَ
فَ اَبَىْ نَ اَنْ

اِنْ سَآ نْ اِنَّهٗ
اِنّ نَ هُوْ كَانَ
كَانَ ظَلُوْمًا
ظَ لُوْ مَنْ جَهُوْلًا
جَ هُوْ لَا

Indeed, We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they ˹all˺ declined to bear it, being fearful of it. But humanity assumed it, ˹for˺ they are truly wrongful ˹to themselves˺ and ignorant ˹of the consequences˺,

Indeed, We offered the Trust1 to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.2
