وَ مَا كَانَ
كَا نَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ
لِ مُ ءْ مِ نِنْ وّ وَّ لَا
وَ لَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ
مُ ءْ مِ نَ تِنْ اِذَا
اِذَا قَضَی
قَ ضَلّ اللّٰهُ
لَا هُ وَ رَسُوْلُهٗۤ
وَ رَ سُوْ لُ هُوْٓ اَمْرًا
اَمْ رَنْ اَنْ
اَنْ ىّ یَّكُوْنَ
ىَ كُوْ نَ لَهُمُ
لَ هُ مُلّ الْخِیَرَةُ
خِ ىَ رَ ةُ مِنْ
مِنْ اَمْرِهِمْ ؕ
اَمْ رِ هِمْ وَ مَنْ
وَمَنۡ ىّ یَّعْصِ
يَعْ صِلّ اللّٰهَ
لَا هَ وَ رَسُوْلَهٗ
وَ رَ سُوْ لَ هُوْ فَقَدْ
فَ قَدْ ضَلَّ
ضَلّ لَ ضَلٰلًا
ضَ لَا لَمّ مُّبِیْنًا
مُ بِىْ نَا
It is not for a believing man or woman—when Allah and His Messenger decree a matter—to have any other choice in that matter.1 Indeed, whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has clearly gone ˹far˺ astray.

It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.
