وَ اَنّ نَا كُنَّا
كُنّ نَا نَقْعُدُ
نَقْ عُ دُ مِنْهَا
مِنْ هَا مَقَاعِدَ
مَ قَا عِ دَ لِلسَّمْعِ ؕ
لِسّ سَمْ عْ فَمَنْ
فَ مَنْ ىّ یَّسْتَمِعِ
يَسْ تَ مِ عِلْ الْاٰنَ
آ نَ یَجِدْ
ىَ جِدْ لَهٗ
لَ هُوْ شِهَابًا
شِ هَا بَرّ رَّصَدًا
رَ صَ دَا
We used to take up positions there for eavesdropping, but whoever dares eavesdrop now will find a flare lying in wait for them.
