وَ بِلْ اَ سْ حَارِ هُمْ
هُمْ یَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَ
يَسْ تَغْ فِ رُوْٓ نْ
وَ فِىْٓ اَمْوَالِهِمْ
اَ مْ وَالِ هِمْ حَقٌّ
حَقّ قُلّ لِّلسَّآىِٕلِ
لِسّ سَآ ءِ لِ وَ الْمَحْرُوْمِ
وَ لْ مَحْ رُوْٓمْ
وَ فِلْ الْاَرْضِ
اَرْضِ اٰیٰتٌ
آ يَا تُلّ لِّلْمُوْقِنِیْنَ
لِلْ مُوْ قِ نِىْٓ نْ
وَ فِىْٓ اَنْفُسِكُمْ ؕ
اَنْ فُ سِ كُمْ اَفَلَا
اَفَ لَا تُبْصِرُوْنَ
تُبْ صِ رُوْٓنْ
وَ فِسّ السَّمَآءِ
سَ مَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ
رِزْ قُ كُمْ وَ مَا
وَمَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ
تُوۡعَ دُوۡٓنْ
فَ وَرَبّ بِسّ السَّمَآءِ
سَ مَآءِ وَ الْاَرْضِ
وَ لْ اَرْضِ اِنَّهٗ
اِ نّ نَ هُوْ لَحَقٌّ
لَ حَقّ قُمّ مِّثْلَ
مِثْ لَ مَاۤ
مَاۤ اَنَّكُمْ
اَ نّ نَ كُمْ تَنْطِقُوْنَ
تَنْ طِ قُٓوْنْ
هَلۡ اَتٰىكَ
اَ تَا كَ حَدِیْثُ
حَ دِ ىْ ثُ ضَیْفِ
ضَىْ فِ اِبْرٰهِیْمَ
اِ بْ رَاهِىْ مَلْ الْمُكْرَمِیْنَ
مُكْ رَ مِىْٓ نْ
اِذۡ دَخَلُوْا
دَخَ لُوۡ عَلَیْهِ
عَ لَىْ هِ فَقَالُوْا
فَ قَا لُوْ سَلٰمًا ؕ
سَ لَا مَا قَالَ
قَالَ سَلٰمٌ ۚ
سَ لَا مُنْ قَوْمٌ
قَوۡمُمّ مُّنْكَرُوْنَ
مُنۡ كَ رُوۡٓنْ
فَ رَا غَ اِلٰۤی
اِ لَٓا اَهْلِهٖ
اَ هْ لِ هِىْ فَجَآءَ
فَ جَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ
بِ عِجْ لِنْ سَمِیْنٍ
سَ مِىْٓ نْ
فَ قَرّرَبَ هُوْٓ اِلَیْهِمْ
اِ لَىْ هِمْ قَالَ
قَالَ اَلَا
اَلَا تَاْكُلُوْنَ
تَاْ كُ لُٓوْنْ
فَ اَوْجَ سَ مِنْهُمْ
مِنْ هُمْ خِیْفَةً ؕ
خِىْ فَهْ قَالُوْا
قَالُوۡ لَا
لَا تَخَفْ ؕ
تَ خَفۡ وَ بَشَّرُوْهُ
وَبَشّ شَ رُوۡهُ بِغُلٰمٍ
بِ غُ لَا مِنْ عَلِیْمٍ
عَ لِىْٓ مْ
and pray for forgiveness before dawn.1

And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,
— Saheeh International
And in their wealth there was a rightful share ˹fulfilled˺ for the beggar and the poor.

And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.
— Saheeh International
There are ˹countless˺ signs on earth for those with sure faith,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]
— Saheeh International
as there are within yourselves. Can you not see?
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And in yourselves. Then will you not see?
— Saheeh International
In heaven is your sustenance and whatever you are promised.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.
— Saheeh International
Then by the Lord of heaven and earth! ˹All˺ this is certainly as true as ˹the fact that˺ you can speak!
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking.
— Saheeh International
Has the story of Abraham’s honoured guests reached you ˹O Prophet˺?
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham?1 -
— Saheeh International
˹Remember˺ when they entered his presence and greeted ˹him with˺, “Peace!” He replied, “Peace ˹be upon you˺!” ˹Then he said to himself,˺ “˹These are˺ an unfamiliar people.”

When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace; [you are] a people unknown."

Then he slipped off to his family and brought a fat ˹roasted˺ calf,1
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf.
— Saheeh International
and placed it before them, asking, “Will you not eat?”
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?"
— Saheeh International
˹They did not eat,˺ so he grew fearful of them.1 They reassured ˹him˺, “Do not be afraid,” and gave him good news of a knowledgeable son.2
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And he felt from them apprehension.1 They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.
