فَ بِ مَا نَقْضِهِمْ
نَقْ ضِ هِمّ مِّیْثَاقَهُمْ
مِىْ ثَا قَ هُمْ لَعَنّٰهُمْ
لَ عَنّ نَا هُمْ وَ جَعَلْنَا
وَ جَ عَلْ نَا قُلُوْبَهُمْ
قُ لُوْ بَ هُمْ قٰسِیَةً ۚ
قَا سِ يَهْ یُحَرِّفُوْنَ
ىُ حَرّ رِ فُوْ نَلْ الْكَلِمَ
كَ لِ مَ عَنْ
عمّ مَّوَاضِعِهٖ ۙ
مَ وَا ضِ عِ هِىْ وَ نَسُوْا
وَ نَ سُوْ حَظًّا
حَظّ ظَمّ مِّمَّا
مِمّ مَا ذُكِّرُوْا
ذُ كّ كِ رُوْ بِهٖ ۚ
بِهْ وَ لَا
وَلَا تَزَالُ
تَ زَالُ تَطَّلِعُ
نَطّ طَ لِ عُ عَلٰی
عَ لَا خَآىِٕنَةٍ
خَآ ءِنْ تِمّ مِّنْهُمْ
مِنْ هُمْ اِلَّا
اِلّ لَا قَلِیْلًا
قَ لِىْ لَمّ مِّنْهُمْ
مِنْ هُمْ فَاعْفُ
فَعْ فُ عَنْهُمْ
عَنْ هُمْ وَ اصْفَحْ ؕ
وَصْ فَحْ اِنَّ
اِنّ نَلّ اللّٰهَ
لَا هَ یُحِبُّ
ىُ حِبّ بُلْ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ
مُحْ سِ نِىْٓ نْ
But for breaking their covenant We condemned them and hardened their hearts. They distorted the words of the Scripture and neglected a portion of what they had been commanded to uphold. You ˹O Prophet˺ will always find deceit on their part, except for a few. But pardon them and bear with them. Indeed, Allah loves the good-doers.

So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hardened. They distort words from their [proper] places [i.e., usages] and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded.1 And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.
