لِ يَغْ فِ رَ لَكَ
لَ كَلّ اللّٰهُ
لَا هُ مَا
مَا تَقَدَّمَ
تَ قَدّ دَمَ مِنْ
مِنْ ذَنْۢبِكَ
ذَمْ بِ كَ وَ مَا
وَ مَا تَاَخَّرَ
تَ اَخّ خَ رَ وَ یُتِمَّ
وَ ىُ تِمّ مَ نِعْمَتَهٗ
نِعْ مَ تَ هُوْ عَلَیْكَ
عَ لَىْ كَ وَ یَهْدِیَكَ
وَيَهْ دِىَ كَ صِرَاطًا
صِ رَا طَمّ مُّسْتَقِیْمًا
مُسْ تَ قِىْ مَا
so that Allah may forgive you for your past and future shortcomings,1 perfect His favour upon you, guide you along the Straight Path,

That Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin [i.e., errors] and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path
