وَ ذْ كُرْ اَخَا
اَخَا عَادٍ ؕ
عَآدْ اِذْ
اِذۡ اَنْذَرَ
اَنۡ ذَرَ قَوْمَهٗ
قَوۡمَ هُوْ بِالْاَحْقَافِ
بِلۡ اَحۡ قَافِ وَ قَدْ
وَقَدۡ خَلَتِ
خَ لَ تِنّ النُّذُرُ
نُ ذُرُ مِنْۢ
مِمْ بَیْنِ
بَىْ نِ یَدَیْهِ
ىَ دَ ىْ هِ وَ مِنْ
وَمِنۡ خَلْفِهٖۤ
خَلۡ فِ هِىْٓ اَلَّا
اَلّ لَا تَعْبُدُوْۤا
تَعْ بُ دُوْٓ اِلَّا
اِ لّ لَلّ اللّٰهَ ؕ
لَٓاهْ اِنِّیْۤ
اِنّ نِىْٓ اَخَافُ
اَخَافُ عَلَیْكُمْ
عَ لَىْ كُمۡ عَذَابَ
عَ ذَابَ یَوْمٍ
يَوۡمِنْ عَظِیْمٍ
عَ ظِىْٓ مْ
And remember the brother of ’Ȃd, when he warned his people, who inhabited the sand-hills1—there were certainly warners before and after him—˹saying,˺ “Worship none but Allah. I truly fear for you the torment of a tremendous day.”

And mention, [O Muḥammad], the brother of ʿAad,1 when he warned his people in [the region of] al-Aḥqāf - and warners had already passed on before him and after him - [saying], "Do not worship except Allah. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day."2
