وَ اِذَا
وَ اِذَا
بُشِّرَ
بُشّ شِ رَ
اَحَدُهُمْ
اَحَ دُهُمْ
بِمَا
بِ مَا
ضَرَبَ
ضَ رَ بَ
لِلرَّحْمٰنِ
لِرّ رَحْ مَا نِ
مَثَلًا
مَ ثَ لَنْ
ظَلَّ
ظَلّ لَ
وَجْهُهٗ
وَجْ هُ هُوْ
مُسْوَدًّا
مُسْ وَدّدَنْ وّ
وَّ هُوَ
وَ هُ وَ
كَظِیْمٌ 
كَ ظِىْٓ مْ

Whenever one of them is given the good news of what they attribute to the Most Compassionate,1 his face grows gloomy, as he suppresses his rage.

And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison [i.e., a daughter], his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
