وَاِذَا حَضَرَ
حَ ضَ رَلْ الْقِسْمَةَ
قِسْ مَ ةَ اُولُوا
اُ لُلْ الْقُرْبٰی
قُرْ بَا وَ الْیَتٰمٰی
وَلْ ىَ تَا مَ وَ الْمَسٰكِیْنُ
وَلْ مَ سَا كِىْ نُ فَارْزُقُوْهُمْ
فَرْ زُ قُوْ هُمّ مِّنْهُ
مِنْ هُ وَ قُوْلُوْا
وَ قُوْ لُوْ لَهُمْ
لَ هُمْ قَوْلًا
قَوْ لَمّ مَّعْرُوْفًا
مَعْ رُوْ فَا
If ˹non-inheriting˺ relatives, orphans,1 or the needy are present at the time of distribution, offer them a ˹small˺ provision from it and speak to them kindly.

And when [other] relatives and orphans and the needy are present at the [time of] division, then provide for them [something] out of it [i.e., the estate] and speak to them words of appropriate kindness.
