اِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ
زُلْ زِ لَ تِلْ الْاَرْضُ
اَرْ ضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
زِلْ زَالَ هَا
وَاَخْ رَ جَ تِلْ الْاَرْضُ
اَرْ ضُ اَثْقَالَهَا
اَثْ قَا لَ هَا
وَ قَا لَلْ الْاِنْسَانُ
اِنْ سَا نُ مَا
مَا لَهَا
لَ هَا
يَوْ مَ ءِ ذِنْ تُحَدِّثُ
تُ حَدّ دِ ثُ اَخْبَارَهَا
اَخْ بَا رَ هَا
بِ اَنّ نَ رَبَّكَ
رَبّ بَ كَ اَوْحٰی
اَوْ حَا لَهَا
لَ هَا
يَوْ مَ ءِ ذِنْ ىّ یَّصْدُرُ
يَصْ دُرُنّ النَّاسُ
نَا سُ اَشْتَاتًا ۙ۬
اَشْ تَا تَلّ لِّیُرَوْا
لِ ىُ رَوْ اَعْمَالَهُمْ
اَعْ مَا لَ هُمْ
فَ مَنْ ىّ یَّعْمَلْ
يَعْ مَلْ مِثْقَالَ
مِثْ قَا لَ ذَرَّةٍ
ذَرّ رَ تِنْ خَیْرًا
خَىْ رَنْ ىّ یَّرَهٗ
ىَ رَهْ
وَ مَنْ ىّ یَّعْمَلْ
يَعْ مَلْ مِثْقَالَ
مِثْ قَا لَ ذَرَّةٍ
ذَرّ رَ تِنْ شَرًّا
شَرّ رَنْ ىّ یَّرَهٗ
ىَ رَهْ
When the earth is shaken ˹in˺ its ultimate quaking,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
— Saheeh International
and when the earth throws out ˹all˺ its contents,1
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And the earth discharges its burdens1
— Saheeh International
and humanity cries, “What is wrong with it?”—
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And man says,1 "What is [wrong] with it?" -
— Saheeh International
on that Day the earth will recount everything,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
That Day, it will report its news
— Saheeh International
having been inspired by your Lord ˹to do so˺.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Because your Lord has inspired [i.e., commanded] it.
— Saheeh International
On that Day people will proceed in separate groups1 to be shown ˹the consequences of˺ their deeds.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
That Day, the people will depart1 separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.
— Saheeh International
So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
So whoever does an atom's weight1 of good will see it,
— Saheeh International
And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
