وَىْ لُلّ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِیْنَ
لِلْ مُ طَفّ فِ فِىْٓ نْ
اَلّ لَ ذِىْ نَ اِذَا
اِذَكْ اكْتَالُوْا
تَا لُوْ عَلَی
عَ لَنّ النَّاسِ
نَا سِ یَسْتَوْفُوْنَؗۖ
يَسْ تُوْ فُوْٓ نْ
وَ اِذَا كَالُوْهُمْ
كَا نُوْ هُمْ اَوْ
اَوّ وَّ زَنُوْهُمْ
وَزَ نُوْ هُمْ یُخْسِرُوْنَ
يُخْ سِ رُوْٓ نْ
اَلَا یَظُنُّ
ىَ ظُنّ نُ اُولٰٓىِٕكَ
اُ لَٓا ءِ كَ اَنَّهُمْ
اَنّ نَ هُمّ مَّبْعُوْثُوْنَ
مَبْ عُوْ ثُوْٓ ن
لِ يَوْ مِنْ عَظِیْمٍ
عَ ظِىْٓ مْ
يَوْ مَ یَقُوْمُ
ىَ قُوْ مُنّ النَّاسُ
نَا سُ لِرَبِّ
لِ رَبّ بِلْ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ
عَا لَ مِىْٓ نْ
كَلّ لَٓا اِنَّ
اِنّ نَ كِتٰبَ
كِ تَا بَلْ الْفُجَّارِ
فُجّ جَا رِ لَفِیْ
لَ فِىْ سِجِّیْنٍ
سِجّ جِىْٓ نْ
وَ مَآ اَدْرٰىكَ
اَدْ رَاكَ مَا
مَا سِجِّیْنٌ
سِجّ جِىْٓ نْ
كِ تَا بُمّ مَّرْقُوْمٌ
مَرْ قُوْٓ مْ
وَىْ لُنْ ىّ یَّوْمَىِٕذٍ
يَوْ مَ ءِ ذِلّ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِیْنَ
لِلّ مُ كَذّ ذِ بِىْٓ نْ
اَلّ لَ ذِىْ نَ یُكَذِّبُوْنَ
ىُ كَذّ ذِ بُوْ نَ بِیَوْمِ
بِ يَوْ مِدّ الدِّیْنِ
دِىْٓ نْ
Woe to the defrauders!
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Woe to those who give less [than due],1
— Saheeh International
Those who take full measure ˹when they buy˺ from people,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full.
— Saheeh International
but give less when they measure or weigh for buyers.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.
— Saheeh International
Do such people not think that they will be resurrected

Do they not think that they will be resurrected
— Saheeh International
for a tremendous Day—
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
For a tremendous Day -
— Saheeh International
the Day ˹all˺ people will stand before the Lord of all worlds?
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?
— Saheeh International
But no! The wicked are certainly bound for Sijjîn1 ˹in the depths of Hell˺—
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen.
— Saheeh International
and what will make you realize what Sijjîn is?—
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And what can make you know what is sijjeen?
— Saheeh International
a fate ˹already˺ sealed.1
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
It is [their destination1 recorded in] a register inscribed.
— Saheeh International
Woe on that Day to the deniers—
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Woe, that Day, to the deniers,
— Saheeh International
those who deny Judgment Day!
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Who deny the Day of Recompense.
— Saheeh International
