وَ كُنْ تُمْ اَزْوَاجًا
اَزْ وَا جَنْ ثَلٰثَةً
ثَ لَا ثَهْ
فَ اَصْ حَا بُلْ الْمَیْمَنَةِ ۙ۬
مَىْ مَ نَهْ مَاۤ
مَآ اَصْحٰبُ
اَصْ حَا بُلْ الْمَیْمَنَةِ
مَىْ مَ نَهْ
وَ اَصْ حَا بُلْ الْمَشْـَٔمَةِ ۙ۬
مَشْ ءَ مَهْ مَاۤ
مَآ اَصْحٰبُ
اَصْ حَا بُلْ الْمَشْـَٔمَةِ
مَشْ ءَ مَهْ
وَسّ سَا بِ قُوْ نَسّ السّٰبِقُوْنَۚ
سَا بِ قُوْٓ نْ
اُ لَٓا ءِ كَلْ الْمُقَرَّبُوْنَ
مُ قَرّ رَ بُوْٓ نْ
فِىْ جَنّٰتِ
جَنّ نَا تِنّ النَّعِیْمِ
نَ عِىْٓ مْ
ثُلّ لَ تُمّ مِّنَ
مِ نَلْ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ
اَوّ وَ لِىْٓ نْ
وَ قَ لِىْ لُمّ مِّنَ
مِ نَلْ الْاٰخِرِیْنَ
آ خِ رِ ىْٓ نْ
عَ لَا سُرُرٍ
سُ رُ رِمّ مَّوْضُوْنَةٍ
مَوْ ضُوْ نَهْ
مُتّ تَ كِ ءِىْ نَ عَلَیْهَا
عَ لَىْ هَا مُتَقٰبِلِیْنَ
مُ تَ قَا بِ لِىْٓ نْ
ىَ طُوْ فُ عَلَیْهِمْ
عَ لَىْ هِمْ وِلْدَانٌ
وِلْ دَا نُمّ مُّخَلَّدُوْنَ
مُ خَلّ لَ دُوْٓ نْ
you will ˹all˺ be ˹divided into˺ three groups:
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And you become [of] three kinds:
— Saheeh International
the people of the right, how ˹blessed˺ will they be;
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?1
— Saheeh International
the people of the left, how ˹miserable˺ will they be;
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And the companions of the left - what are companions of the left?1
— Saheeh International
and the foremost ˹in faith˺ will be the foremost ˹in Paradise˺.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And the forerunners, the forerunners1 -
— Saheeh International
They are the ones nearest ˹to Allah˺,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Those are the ones brought near [to Allah]
— Saheeh International
in the Gardens of Bliss.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
In the Gardens of Pleasure,
— Saheeh International
˹They will be˺ a multitude from earlier generations
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
A [large] company of the former peoples
— Saheeh International
and a few from later generations.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And a few of the later peoples,
— Saheeh International
˹All will be˺ on jewelled thrones,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
On thrones woven [with ornament],
— Saheeh International
reclining face to face.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Reclining on them, facing each other.
— Saheeh International
They will be waited on by eternal youths
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal.
— Saheeh International
