وَسّ سَ مَآ ءَ رَفَعَهَا
رَفَ عَ هَا وَ وَضَعَ
وَ وَ ضَ عَلْ الْمِیْزَانَ
مِىْ زَآ نْ
اَلّ لَا تَطْغَوْا
تَطْ غَوْ فِی
فِلْ الْمِیْزَانِ
مِىْ زَآ نْ
وَ اَ قِىْ مُلْ الْوَزْنَ
وَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ
بِلْ قِسْ طِ وَ لَا
وَ لَا تُخْسِرُوا
تُخْ سِ رُلْ الْمِیْزَانَ
مِىْ زَآ نْ
وَلْ اَرْ ضَ وَ ضَعَهَا
وَ ضَ عَ هَا لِلْاَنَامِ
لِلْ اَ نَآ مْ
فِىْ هَا فَاكِهَةٌ ۪ۙ
فَا كِ هَ تُنْ وّ وَّ النَّخْلُ
وَنّ نَخْ لُ ذَاتُ
ذَا تُلْ الْاَكْمَامِۖ
اَكْ مَآ مْ
وَلْ حَبّ بُ ذُو
ذُلْ الْعَصْفِ
عَصْ فِ وَ الرَّیْحَانُ
وَرّ رَىْ حَآ نْ
فَ بِ اَىّ ىِ اٰلَآءِ
آ لَٓا ءِ رَبِّكُمَا
رَبّ بِ كُ مَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
تُ كَذّ ذِ بَآ نْ
خَ لَ قَلْ الْاِنْسَانَ
اِنْ سَا نَ مِنْ
مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ
صَلْ صَا لِنْ كَالْفَخَّارِ
كَلْ فَخّ خَآ رْ
وَ خَ لَ قَلْ الْجَآنَّ
جَآ نّ نَ مِنْ
مِمّ مَّارِجٍ
مَا رِ جِمّ مِّنْ
مِنّ نَّارٍ
نَآ رْ
فَ بِ اَىّ ىِ اٰلَآءِ
آ لَٓا ءِ رَبِّكُمَا
رَبّ بِ كُ مَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ
تُ كَذّ ذِ بَآ نْ
رَبّ بُلْ الْمَشْرِقَیْنِ
مَشْ رِ قَىْ نِ وَ رَبُّ
وَرَبّ بُلْ الْمَغْرِبَیْنِ
مَغْ رِ بَىْ نْ
As for the sky, He raised it ˹high˺, and set the balance ˹of justice˺
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance
— Saheeh International
so that you do not defraud the scales.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
That you not transgress within the balance.
— Saheeh International
Weigh with justice, and do not give short measure.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.
— Saheeh International
He laid out the earth for all beings.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.
— Saheeh International
In it are fruit, palm trees with date stalks,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
— Saheeh International
and grain with husks, and aromatic plants.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And grain having husks and scented plants.
— Saheeh International
Then which of your Lord’s favours will you ˹humans and jinn˺ both deny?1
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?1
— Saheeh International
He created humankind from ˹sounding˺ clay like pottery,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.
— Saheeh International
and created jinn from a ˹smokeless˺ flame of fire.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.
— Saheeh International
Then which of your Lord’s favours will you both deny?
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
— Saheeh International
˹He is˺ Lord of the two easts and the two wests.1
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.1
— Saheeh International
