قَالَ
قَ لَ رَبِّ
رَبّ بِ اِنِّیْ
اِنّ نِىْ لَاۤ
لَٓا اَمْلِكُ
اَمْ لِ كُ اِلَّا
اِلّ لَا نَفْسِیْ
نَفْ سِىْ وَ اَخِیْ
وَ اَخِىْ فَافْرُقْ
فَفْ رُقْ بَیْنَنَا
بَىْ نَ نَا وَ بَیْنَ
وَ بَىْ نَلْ الْقَوْمِ
قَوْ مِلْ الْفٰسِقِیْنَ
فَا سِ قِىْٓ نْ
قَ لَ رَبِّ

اِنّ نِىْ لَاۤ
لَٓا اَمْلِكُ
اَمْ لِ كُ اِلَّا
اِلّ لَا نَفْسِیْ
نَفْ سِىْ وَ اَخِیْ

بَىْ نَ نَا وَ بَیْنَ
وَ بَىْ نَلْ الْقَوْمِ
قَوْ مِلْ الْفٰسِقِیْنَ
فَا سِ قِىْٓ نْ

Moses pleaded, “My Lord! I have no control over anyone except myself and my brother. So set us apart from the rebellious people.”

[Moses] said, "My Lord, indeed I do not possess [i.e., control] except myself and my brother, so part us1 from the defiantly disobedient people."
