Muhammad

and admit them into Paradise, having made it known to them.¹

And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them.

— Saheeh International

O believers! If you stand up for Allah, He will help you and make your steps firm.

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.

— Saheeh International

As for the disbelievers, may they be doomed and may He render their deeds void.

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

But those who disbelieve - for them is misery, and He will waste their deeds.

— Saheeh International

That is because they detest what Allah has revealed, so He has rendered their deeds void.

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds.

— Saheeh International

Have they not travelled throughout the land to see what was the end of those before them? Allah annihilated them, and a similar fate awaits the disbelievers.

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them,¹ and for the disbelievers is something comparable.

— Saheeh International

This is because Allah is the Patron of the believers while the disbelievers have no patron.

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector.

— Saheeh International

Surely Allah will admit those who believe and do good into Gardens under which rivers flow. As for the disbelievers, they enjoy themselves and feed like cattle.¹ But the Fire will be their home.

Indeed, Allah will admit those who have believed and done righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow, but those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as grazing livestock eat, and the Fire will be a residence for them.

— Saheeh International

˹Imagine, O  Prophet,˺ how many societies We destroyed that were far superior in might than your society—which drove you out—and there was none to help them!

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

And how many a city was stronger than your city [i.e., Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them.

— Saheeh International

Can those ˹believers˺ who stand on clear proof from their Lord be like those whose evil deeds are made appealing to them and ˹only˺ follow their desires?

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

So is he who is on clear evidence from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work has been made attractive and they follow their [own] desires?

— Saheeh International

The description of the Paradise promised to the righteous is that in it are rivers of fresh water, rivers of milk that never changes in taste, rivers of wine delicious to drink, and rivers of pure honey. There they will ˹also˺ have all kinds of fruit, and forgiveness from their Lord. ˹Can they be˺ like those who will stay in the Fire forever, left to drink boiling water that will tear apart their insides?

Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered,¹ rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord... [Are its inhabitants] like those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?

— Saheeh International

There are some of them who listen to you ˹O Prophet˺, but when they depart from you, they say ˹mockingly˺ to those ˹believers˺ gifted with knowledge, “What did he just say?” These are the ones whose hearts Allah has sealed and who ˹only˺ follow their desires.

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

And among them, [O Muḥammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge,¹ "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.

— Saheeh International
