وَقَالَلّ الَّذِیْنَ
لَ ذِ ىْ نَ كَفَرُوْا
كَ فَ رُوۡ لِلَّذِیْنَ
لِلّ لَ ذِ ىْ نَ اٰمَنُوْا
آ مَ نُوْ لَوْ
لَوۡ كَانَ
كَانَ خَیْرًا
خَىْ رَ مّ مَّا
مَا سَبَقُوْنَاۤ
سَ بَ قُوْ نَآ اِلَیْهِ ؕ
اِلَىْ هْ وَ اِذْ
وَاِذۡ لَمْ
لَمۡ یَهْتَدُوْا
يَهۡ تَ دُوۡ بِهٖ
بِ هِىْ فَسَیَقُوْلُوْنَ
فَ سَ ىَ قُوۡلُوۡنَ هٰذَاۤ
هَاذَاۤ اِفْكٌ
اِفۡ كُنْ قَدِیْمٌ
قَ دِىْٓ مْ
The disbelievers say of the believers, “Had it been ˹something˺ good, they1 would not have beaten us to it.” Now since they reject its guidance, they will say, “˹This is˺ an ancient fabrication!”

And those who disbelieve say of those who believe, "If it had [truly] been good, they would not have preceded us to it." And when they are not guided by it, they will say, "This is an ancient falsehood."
