﷽
یٰۤاَیُّهَا
يَآ اَىّ ىُ هَنّ نَ النَّبِیُّ
نَ بِىّ ىُ قُلْ
قُلّ لِّاَزْوَاجِكَ
لِ اَزْ وَاجِ كَ وَ بَنٰتِكَ
وَ بَ نَا تِ كَ وَ نِسَآءِ
وَ نِ سَآ ءِ لْ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ
مُ ءْ مِ نِىْ نَ یُدْنِیْنَ
يُدْ نِىْ نَ عَلَیْهِنَّ
عَ لَىْ هِنّ نَ مِنْ
مِنْ جَلَابِیْبِهِنَّ ؕ
جَ لَا بِىْ بِ هِنّ نْ ذٰلِكَ
ذَا لِ كَ اَدْنٰۤی
اَدْ نَآ اَنْ
اَنۡ ىّ یُّعْرَفْنَ
يُعْ رَفْ نَ فَلَا
فَ لَا یُؤْذَیْنَ ؕ
ىُ ءْ ذَىْ نْ وَ كَانَ
وَكَانَلّ اللّٰهُ
لَا هُ غَفُوْرًا
غَ فُوْ رَرّ رَّحِیْمًا
رَ حِىْ مَا
يَآ اَىّ ىُ هَنّ نَ النَّبِیُّ
نَ بِىّ ىُ قُلْ
قُلّ لِّاَزْوَاجِكَ
لِ اَزْ وَاجِ كَ وَ بَنٰتِكَ
وَ بَ نَا تِ كَ وَ نِسَآءِ
وَ نِ سَآ ءِ لْ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ
مُ ءْ مِ نِىْ نَ یُدْنِیْنَ
يُدْ نِىْ نَ عَلَیْهِنَّ
عَ لَىْ هِنّ نَ مِنْ
مِنْ جَلَابِیْبِهِنَّ ؕ
جَ لَا بِىْ بِ هِنّ نْ ذٰلِكَ
ذَا لِ كَ اَدْنٰۤی
اَدْ نَآ اَنْ
اَنۡ ىّ یُّعْرَفْنَ
يُعْ رَفْ نَ فَلَا
فَ لَا یُؤْذَیْنَ ؕ
ىُ ءْ ذَىْ نْ وَ كَانَ
وَكَانَلّ اللّٰهُ
لَا هُ غَفُوْرًا
غَ فُوْ رَرّ رَّحِیْمًا
رَ حِىْ مَا

ﮰ

ﯕ
O Prophet! Ask your wives, daughters, and believing women to draw their cloaks over their bodies. In this way it is more likely that they will be recognized ˹as virtuous˺ and not be harassed. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.1
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments.1 That is more suitable that they will be known2 and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.3
