زَاغَتِ
زَاغَ تِلْ
الْاَبْصَارُ
اَبْ صَا رُ
وَ بَلَغَتِ
وَ بَ لَ غَ تِلْ
الْقُلُوْبُ
قُ لُوْ بُلْ
الْحَنَاجِرَ
حَ نَا جِ رَ
وَ تَظُنُّوْنَ
وَ تَ ظُنّ نُوْ نَ
بِاللّٰهِ
بِلّ لَا هِظّ
الظُّنُوْنَا 
ظُ نُوْ نَا

˹Remember˺ when they came at you from east and west,1 when your eyes grew wild ˹in horror˺ and your hearts jumped into your throats, and you entertained ˹conflicting˺ thoughts about Allah.2
