لَا
لَا یَتَّخِذِ
يَتّ تَ خِ ذِلْ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ
مُ ءْ مِ نُوْ نَلْ الْكٰفِرِیْنَ
كَا فِ رِىْ نَ اَوْلِیَآءَ
اَوْ لِ يَآ ءَ مِنْ
مِنْ دُوْنِ
دُوْ نِلْ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ ۚ
مُ ءْ مِ نِىْٓ نْ وَ مَنْ
وَمَنْ ىّ یَّفْعَلْ
يَفْ عَلْ ذٰلِكَ
ذَالِ كَ فَلَیْسَ
فَ لَىْ سَ مِنَ
مِ نَلّ اللّٰهِ
لَا هِ فِیْ
فِىْ شَیْءٍ
شَىْ ءِ نْ اِلَّاۤ
اِلّ لَٓا اَنْ
اَنۡ تَتَّقُوْا
تَتّ تَ قُوْ مِنْهُمْ
مِنْ هُمْ تُقٰىةً ؕ
تُ قَآ هْ وَ یُحَذِّرُكُمُ
وَ ىُ حَذّ ذِ رُ كُ مُلّ اللّٰهُ
لَا هُ نَفْسَهٗ ؕ
نَفْ سَهْ وَ اِلَی
وَاِلَلّ اللّٰهِ
لَا هِلْ الْمَصِیْرُ
مَ صِىْٓ رْ
لَا یَتَّخِذِ

مِنْ هُمْ تُقٰىةً ؕ
تُ قَآ هْ وَ یُحَذِّرُكُمُ
وَ ىُ حَذّ ذِ رُ كُ مُلّ اللّٰهُ
لَا هُ نَفْسَهٗ ؕ
نَفْ سَهْ وَ اِلَی
وَاِلَلّ اللّٰهِ
لَا هِلْ الْمَصِیْرُ
مَ صِىْٓ رْ

ﯭ

ﯳ
ﯴ

ﯷ
ﯸ
ﯹ
ﯺ
Believers should not take disbelievers as guardians instead of the believers—and whoever does so will have nothing to hope for from Allah—unless it is a precaution against their tyranny. And Allah warns you about Himself. And to Allah is the final return.

Let not believers take disbelievers as allies [i.e., supporters or protectors] rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing [i.e., no association] with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence.1 And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination.
