ضُ رِ بَتْ عَلَیْهِمُ
عَ لَىْ هِ مُذّ الذِّلَّةُ
ذِلّ لَ ةُ اَیْنَ
اَىْ نَ مَا
مَا ثُقِفُوْۤا
ثُ قِ فُوْٓ اِلَّا
اِلّ لَا بِحَبْلٍ
بِ حَبْ لِمّ مِّنَ
مِ نَلّ اللّٰهِ
لَا هِ وَ حَبْلٍ
وَحَبْ لِمّ مِّنَ
مِ نَنّ النَّاسِ
نَا سِ وَ بَآءُوْ
وَ بَآ ءُ وْ بِغَضَبٍ
بِ غَ ضَ بِمّ مِّنَ
مِ نَلّ اللّٰهِ
لَا هِ وَ ضُرِبَتْ
وَ ضُ رِ بَتْ عَلَیْهِمُ
عَ لَىْ هِ مُلْ الْمَسْكَنَةُ ؕ
مَسْ كَ نَهْ ذٰلِكَ
ذَالِ كَ بِاَنَّهُمْ
بِ اَنّ نَ هُمْ كَانُوْا
كَا نُوْ یَكْفُرُوْنَ
يَكْ فُ رُوْ نَ بِاٰیٰتِ
بِ آ يَا تِلّ اللّٰهِ
لَا هِ وَ یَقْتُلُوْنَ
وَ يَقْ تُ لُوْ نَلْ الْاَنْۢبِیَآءَ
اَمْ بِ يَآ ءَ بِغَیْرِ
بِ غَىْ رِ حَقٍّ ؕ
حَقّ قْ ذٰلِكَ
ذَالِ كَ بِمَا
بِ مَا عَصَوْا
عَ صَوّ وَّ كَانُوْا
وَ كَا نُوْ یَعْتَدُوْنَ
يَعْ تَ دُوْٓ نْ
They will be stricken with disgrace wherever they go, unless they are protected by a covenant with Allah or a treaty with the people. They have invited the displeasure of Allah and have been branded with misery for rejecting Allah’s revelations and murdering ˹His˺ prophets unjustly. This is ˹a fair reward˺ for their disobedience and violations.

They have been put under humiliation [by Allah] wherever they are overtaken, except for a rope [i.e., covenant] from Allah and a rope [i.e., treaty] from the people [i.e., the Muslims].1 And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in [i.e., rejected] the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed.
