Have they not seen how Allah originates the creation then resurrects it? That is certainly easy for Allah.

Have they not considered how Allah begins creation and then repeats it? Indeed that, for Allah, is easy.

ﮪﮫ ﮰﮱ

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Travel throughout the land and see how He originated the creation, then Allah will bring it into being one more time. Surely Allah is Most Capable of everything.

Say, [O Muḥammad], "Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation [i.e., development]. Indeed Allah, over all things, is competent."

ﯟﯠ

He punishes whoever He wills, and shows mercy to whoever He wills. And you will ˹all˺ be returned to Him.

He punishes whom He wills and has mercy upon whom He wills, and to Him you will be returned.

— Saheeh International

ﯫﯬ

And you cannot escape Him on earth or in heaven. Nor have you any protector or helper besides Allah.”

And you will not cause failure [to Allah] upon the earth or in the heaven. And you have not other than Allah any protector or any helper.

— Saheeh International

As for those who disbelieve in Allah’s signs and the meeting with Him, it is they who will have no hope in His mercy.1 And it is they who will suffer a painful punishment.

And the ones who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and the meeting with Him - those have despaired of My mercy, and they will have a painful punishment.

ﭞﭟ

But the only response of Abraham’s people was to say: “Kill him or burn him!” But Allah saved him from the fire.1 Surely in this are signs for people who believe.

And the answer of his [i.e., Abraham's] people was not but that they said, "Kill him or burn him," but Allah saved him from the fire. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.

ﭲﭳ ﭿ

He said ˹to his people˺, “You have taken idols ˹for worship˺ instead of Allah, only to keep ˹the bond of˺ harmony among yourselves in this worldly life. But on the Day of Judgment you will disown and curse one another. Your home will be the Fire, and you will have no helper!”

And [Abraham] said, "You have only taken, other than Allah, idols as [a bond of] affection among you in worldly life. Then on the Day of Resurrection you will deny one another and curse one another, and your refuge will be the Fire, and you will not have any helpers."

ﮄ ﮅ ﮇﮈ ﮍﮎ

So Lot believed in him. And Abraham said, “I am emigrating ˹in obedience˺ to my Lord. He ˹alone˺ is indeed the Almighty, All-Wise.”

And Lot believed him. [Abraham] said, "Indeed, I will emigrate to [the service of] my Lord. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

ﮠﮡ

We blessed him with Isaac and ˹later˺ Jacob, and reserved prophethood and revelation for his descendants. We gave him his reward in this life,1 and in the Hereafter he will certainly be among the righteous.

And We gave to him Isaac and Jacob and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture. And We gave him his reward in this world, and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the righteous.

— Saheeh International

And ˹remember˺ when Lot rebuked ˹the men of˺ his people: “You certainly commit a shameful deed that no man has ever done before you.

And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Indeed, you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds.

Do you really lust after ˹other˺ men, abuse the travellers, and practice immorality ˹openly˺ in your gatherings?” His people’s only response was to say ˹mockingly˺: “Bring Allah’s punishment upon us, if what you say is true.”

Indeed, you approach men and obstruct the road1 and commit in your meetings [every] evil." And the answer of his people was not but that they said, "Bring us the punishment of Allah, if you should be of the truthful."
