﷽
وَ اِذْ
وَاِذْ قَالَ
قَا لَ اِبْرٰهِیْمُ
اِبْ رَاهِىْ مُ رَبِّ
رَبّ بِجْ اجْعَلْ
عَلْ هٰذَا
هَا ذَلْ الْبَلَدَ
بَ لَ دَ اٰمِنًا
آ مِ نَنْ وّ وَّ اجْنُبْنِیْ
وَجْ نُبْ نِىْ وَ بَنِیَّ
وَ بَ نِىّ ىَ اَنْ
اَنّ نَّعْبُدَ
نَعْ بُ دَلْ الْاَصْنَامَ
اَصْ نَآ مْ
وَاِذْ قَالَ
قَا لَ اِبْرٰهِیْمُ
اِبْ رَاهِىْ مُ رَبِّ
رَبّ بِجْ اجْعَلْ
عَلْ هٰذَا
هَا ذَلْ الْبَلَدَ
بَ لَ دَ اٰمِنًا

˹Remember˺ when Abraham prayed, “My Lord! Make this city ˹of Mecca˺ secure, and keep me and my children away from the worship of idols.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this city [i.e., Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.
